Helen Ramaglia, a former foster child and foster adoptive parent, is the founder of Fostering SuperStars, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of foster children and families.  With over 20 years of experience in the child welfare sector, Helen has a deep understanding of the challenges facing vulnerable children and is committed to making a difference in their lives.

Helen's work with Fostering SuperStars has earned her numerous awards and recognitions.   In 2018, she was named a Champion of Change by the White House for her work in improving outcomes for children in foster care.  She has also been recognized by the National Foster Parent Association and the National Adoption Center for her advocacy on behalf of foster children and families. 

 

Helen is also an accomplished author, having published several books and articles related to child welfare, foster care trauma, and adoption.  Her writing has been recognized for its clarity and practical advice and has been featured in numerous media outlets across the globe. 

Under Helen's leadership, Fostering SuperStars has become a leading voice in the child welfare community, advocating for policies and programs that can improve the lives of foster children and families.  The organization provides a wide range of services, including support assistance,  educational programs, and advocacy initiatives.
